One minute I was getting ready to sit down to watch my church service, and the next thing I know I'm out the door a few hours later with all my duffles and boxes.
It is a funny thing, how God works. His plans are always better for me than my own.
My plan was to enjoy a slow Sunday and then finalize that night before leaving New Hampshire on Monday morning to head back to campus. But His plan was better.
So, here I am.
My room is all set up, I'm completely unpacked, and already looking over my list of homework and making some plans for my first weekend back at Gordon.
I am beyond excited to be reunited with this campus again.
It was weird to me, at first, the feelings I had when I first put my feet on the asphalt outside Wilson Hall but now I realize they weren't weird at all. They were feelings I had been missing for far too long. Feelings like things had clicked into place, like I knew where the forks were, and the way the toilet in the last stall makes a whooshing sound... feelings of home. Feelings of rootedness, familiarity, teraanga.
I never thought I'd make it to this point, but the grace of God has brought me here, to this place, for whatever He has planned for me.
I don't know about you, but Jesus brought me here for year 2 and I am so excited to watch what He does next!
